The standard court dimensions for doubles matches are 26.24 feet (8 meters) wide by 52.50 feet (16 meters) long. Beach tennis is a unique sport that individuals may play. The playing surface for singles matches has the same length as for doubles, although it is a few inches narrower at 14.91 feet (4.5 meters) in width.<\/p>\n
Initially, players used the same net as beach volleyball, but it changed to 5.6 feet (1.7 meters) to\u00a0quicken the action.<\/p>\n
